Varnished Posters for High-End Impact

Why Varnish a Poster

A layer of UV varnish applied directly during printing deepens colours, reduces fading from light exposure, and protects against moisture well enough for most indoor uses and short-to-medium-term outdoor display. It's a more affordable option than lamination, while still noticeably lifting the visual quality of the print. Varnishing is available on both single-sided posters and double-sided posters.

High Gloss UV vs Drip Off Varnish

High Gloss UV varnish gives an intense, glossy shine across the whole surface - a good choice for advertising and photographic posters. Drip Off varnish lets you combine gloss and matte areas on the same sheet (for example, to highlight a logo or headline), giving a premium finish for product presentations and events.

When Varnish Is Enough, and When You Need Lamination

If the poster will hang indoors or for a short outdoor campaign, UV varnish is an economical, effective choice. For permanent outdoor display, high humidity, or where the surface will need washing, we recommend our laminated posters.
