Double-sided posters — legible from every side.

When to Choose Double-Sided Printing

Double-sided posters are the right choice wherever people see the print from both sides - glass partitions in office buildings, shopping centres, hanging display stands, and shop windows viewed from the street and from inside at once. If your content only needs to be seen from one side, single-sided posters are the cheaper, equally suitable option. Standard CMYK 4/4 printing on both sides is available straight away in our online calculator - there's no need to choose which side is "more important," both sides get the same top quality. A version with an additional Pantone colour (CMYK + Pantone 5/5) is quoted individually once we've reviewed your specific project - please get in touch to discuss the details.

Registration Precision - Why It Matters

Double-sided printing needs tighter registration between the two sides of the sheet, which is why we recommend higher-opacity papers - these minimise show-through from the reverse side, which matters most with dark backgrounds and large blocks of colour.

Formats, Papers and Finishes

Available in formats A3–B1, on gloss/matte coated papers as well as offset and eco-friendly papers. For longer-term display, we recommend an extra protective finish on both sides - a protective film as used on our laminated posters, or a more affordable UV varnish available with our varnished posters.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes - it requires two passes through the offset press, which means a higher unit price than a single-sided poster in the same format and print run.

With standard coated paper from 130 gsm upwards, the risk of show-through is minimal; for very dark, solid backgrounds we recommend a paper weight of 170 gsm or higher.
