When to Choose Custom Finished Flyers

This is the most flexible of our flyer products — instead of one fixed finish (as with varnished flyers or laminated flyers), you combine laminating foil, varnish and spot metallic foil yourself. It suits unusual projects, event materials, or jobs that call for a specific combination of finishes.

Available Finishing Options

Choose from: gloss foil, matte foil, matte foil with spot UV, silk foil, silk foil with spot 3D UV, High Gloss UV varnish and Drip Off varnish — independently on the front and back of the flyer. On top of that, spot foil can be applied in one of five colours — gold, silver, red, green or blue — to highlight a logo, tagline or other chosen graphic element.

Drip Off varnish combines glossy and matte areas on a single sheet, creating a striking contrast of textures without using spot foil — it works well on posters, event flyers, and promotional materials that need to stand out from the competition.

How to Prepare Your Artwork

Alongside the standard print-ready PDF in CMYK (min. 300 DPI, 2 mm bleed), spot foil or Drip Off varnish requires an extra page marking exactly which elements should be highlighted, in the colour C0 M0 Y0 K100.
