Diplomas

A diploma is an elegant document that serves as official confirmation of a person’s achievements, qualifications, participation, or special merits. The surface may be matte or glossy, and additional finishing options are often used, such as gold embossing, varnished elements, holograms, or decorative borders. The interior of the diploma is usually designed with stylized fonts and graphic accents that emphasize its formal character.

The diploma typically includes the following information:
- Full name of the recipient,
- Name of the institution awarding the diploma,
- Description of the achievement or reason for the award (e.g., “for achieving 1st place in a mathematics competition,” “for outstanding academic performance,” “for participation in an educational project,” “for completion of training,” etc.),
- Date and place of presentation,
- Signatures of authorized persons — often the school principal, event organizer, chairperson of the committee, etc.,
- In some cases – the official seal of the awarding institution, which further strengthens the document’s formal character.

Purpose and Types

Diplomas are used in many areas of life:

- Graduation diplomas – including secondary school graduation certificates and diplomas confirming completion of courses or postgraduate studies.
- Recognition diplomas – awarded for special achievements (e.g., winners of academic olympiads, artistic competitions, or sports events).
